BIM Modeler (Structural Engineering) Position Summary The BIM Modeler is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating detailed 3D models in Revit and construction documents for structural engineering projects. This role supports engineers and project teams by producing accurate models, drawings, and data that align with project requirements, codes, and BIM standards. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain detailed structural BIM models (Revit) Develop construction documents including plans, sections, details, and schedules from BIM models. Perform model quality control to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company and project standards. Update models and drawings based on design changes, markups, and engineering direction. Assist in the development and enforcement of BIM standards, templates, and workflows. Manage file organization, version control, and documentation within BIM environments. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or related field. 2+ years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in structural engineering or Architecture Proficiency in Autodesk Revit. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple deadlines. Preferred Skills Experience with Dynamo or other BIM automation tools. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., AISC, ACI, ASCE). Work Environment & Schedule Hybrid work arrangement: primarily remote with one day per week in the office for team coordination and collaboration. May require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
