Job Description
Responsibilities:
Understanding and applying agency design standards in the design of civil infrastructure. Using hydrologic and hydraulic programs in the analysis of storm water. Modeling water and wastewater systems (using WaterCAD and SewerCAD). Preparing roadway design (using Civil 3D). Writing Basis of Design or other reports related to Stormwater, Drainage, Erosion and Sedimentation Control and/or Water and Wastewater Utility Improvements. Coordinating with other disciplines in the development of construction drawings and specifications. Prepare stormwater management reports and NPDES permit applications for post development stormwater discharge permits. What you bring to our firm: BS in Civil Engineering (MS is a plus) E.I.T required. 0-2 years of site/civil experience required including a thorough knowledge of the requirements of local, State and Federal agencies having site plan approval jurisdiction. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Proficient in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Demonstrated interest in civil site design or land development engineering through applied coursework, internships, or related experiences. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or collaboratively on a team.
