Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Licensed Architect to join our innovative design team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead architectural projects from conceptual design through construction, ensuring excellence in quality, sustainability, and client satisfaction. As a Licensed Architect, you will leverage your expertise in project management, technical drafting, and construction processes to deliver inspiring spaces that meet both aesthetic and functional goals. Duties Lead the development of architectural designs using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce detailed drawings and presentations. Manage project schedules effectively to ensure timely delivery of all phases from schematic design to construction documentation. Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams through negotiation and clear communication to align project goals and resolve issues swiftly. Oversee construction management activities including site visits, quality control, budgeting, and construction estimating to ensure projects adhere to specifications and standards. Utilize Bluebeam for efficient document review and markup during design development and construction phases. Prepare comprehensive contracts and scope of work documents while managing project budgets with precision. Support business development efforts by preparing proposals, presentations, and fostering client relationships for future opportunities. Experience Proven licensure as an Architect with a minimum of five years of professional experience in architecture or related fields. Extensive knowledge of project scheduling tools and methods to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated expertise in construction estimating, budgeting, and construction management practices. Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD), Building Information Modeling (Revit), ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D (including Grasshopper), SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, NavisWorks for clash detection and coordination. Strong understanding of contracts law related to architecture projects as well as renovation and interior design processes. Experience in business development activities such as client negotiations and proposal writing is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction techniques including renovation projects and interior design concepts is preferred.
