Job Title:
Project Architect Job Description We are seeking an experienced Project Architect with 7-12 years of experience. The successful candidate will hold a degree in architecture from an accredited university and have a minimum of 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be familiar with all phases of design, construction documentation, and construction observation, and be proficient in Revit. Presentation skills, including 3D renderings and walk-through animation, are a plus. Responsibilities Handle all duties assigned to project coordinators, designers, and technicians. Be responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client's needs. Provide professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects. Independently apply advanced architectural concepts and designs. Carry out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures. Provide technical guidance to less experienced architects. Travel to and visit project construction sites to observe construction progress and compose field reports. Site visits may require travel involving both day trips and some overnight stays to out-of-town project locations. Essential Skills 7+ years of professional experience. Bachelor's degree in Architecture; Master's degree is a plus. Ability to obtain licensure, with a plan to do so. Proficiency in Revit. Additional Skills & Qualifications Healthcare project experience preferred but not necessary. Proficiency in Photoshop, SketchUp, Enscape, InDesign, MS Office applications, and AutoCAD is a plus. Work Environment The current team consists of about 30 people spread across Cherry Hill and Easton locations. The work environment is flexible, cooperative, and encourages collaboration on architectural design, master planning, space planning, and interior design. Business casual attire is expected, pending client meetings. The role offers the ability to work remotely at times, based on experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cherry Hill, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
