Who We Are Looking For:
The Project Designer will create and contribute to all aspects of design, including development of technical solutions for clients. Our preferred candidate will have prior experience in the AEC industry, and an interest in working in a dynamic global design environment with a diverse range of public assembly building types, including sports venues, convention centers, and transportation facilities.
What Your Day Could Consist Of:
Creating conceptual drawings and visual imagery. Preparing materials for and participating in project interviews and design presentations to clients, communities, public agencies, and other key stakeholders. Collaborative critique and refinement of early-stage design concepts to align with project goals. Developing innovative solutions for complex technical challenges from master planning and concept design through to construction documents. Designing, modifying, and reviewing design content and drawings adhering to industry standards and technical expertise. Coordinating technical drawings with external consultants to ensure project coherence and accuracy. Addressing and fulfilling client design and operational requirements with a focus on design excellence. Possibly contribute to marketing initiatives including website content, blog entries, videos, and articles for publication.
Requirements For Success:
Proficiency and working knowledge of design software including Rhino, Revit, and AutoCAD. Proficiency in 2D and 3D visualization software, including Autodesk Revit/Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Rhino3D/Enscape. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Proven communication and presentation skills with the ability to express information clearly and accurately. Basic hand drawing and illustration skills. Knowledge of architecture design and operations, construction principles and understanding of generally applicable laws and regulations. Unyielding work ethic with demonstrated efficiency, flexibility, and a positive spirit. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team. Highly self-motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Essential Qualifications:
An accredited professional degree in Architecture. 7+ years of professional architectural experience. Registered Architect with a current license. NCARB registration preferred. LEED certification is preferred.
