Marlborough, Massachusetts (Hybrid)Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional to design and develop architectural plans for new store development, relocations, expansions, remodels, and special projects. Our team drives impactful decisions that enhance in-store experiences, supporting the company's continuing growth and ongoing store transformation initiatives.Responsibilities:
Design and develop fixture plans and architectural criteria drawings for a variety of store projects, ensuring standards and budget guidelines are met. Collaborate with internal teams and outside consultants to analyze project data, create site-specific plans, and resolve design or construction challenges. Troubleshoot and develop creative solutions to address site-specific issues that may arise during planning, drawing, and construction phases. Guide and support Store Planners and external consultants on planning guidelines, distribute project assignments, and ensure timely delivery of drawings and project data.Required:
Minimum of 8 years of related planning experience, with preference for backgrounds in retail design, store planning, interior design, or architecture. Working knowledge and practical experience with REVIT (demonstrate usage in resume or summary) andACAD/AUTOCAD
; experience with retail store and fixture layout is preferred, though experience at an architectural firm will be considered. Associate's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering Technology, or Interior Design, or equivalent certificate. Bachelor's in Accounting or Law Degree accepted. Strong understanding of retail operations, building architecture, construction procedures, and related codes, with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.About SSI People:
