Job Description:
Mission Waséyabek Federal Services, LLC (WFS) is a 100% Tribally owned, Native American SBA 8(a) small business of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi (NHBP). WFS is part of a portfolio of companies managed by Waséyabek Development Company, LLC, a 100% Tribally owned economic development firm focused on income diversification on behalf of NHBP that reaches beyond gaming is a well-funded, experienced small business, with substantial liquid assets and experience in federal contracting. WFS has borrowing capacity to meet the daily cash needs of new business development, new award support, and operational working capital. WFS is well-versed in federal contract compliance and providing outstanding support services.
Responsibilities:
Proficiency in computer aided design (CAD) with demonstrated experience with computer aided Use drafting applications to originate and produce drawings with minimum supervision 3 D modeling experience required (S 3 D preferred) Read, interpret and generate design drawings with minimal input from a member of the engineering staff_ Must have the ability to walk down field systems with minimal guidance, interpret field direction, generate minor design details, create new drawings, modify existing drawings, and direct junior drafters
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be a US Citizen Must have a minimum of an associate degree in a field related to the position and a minimum of 1 0 years progressive experience in drafting related to Engineering and Construction (nuclear preferred) Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to specialized (nuclear or other areas) engineering design Background and experience must include drafting/designer experience in engineering fields, such as electrical, mechanical, structural, communications, architectural, fire protection or civil
