Job Description

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking an outgoing, customer-focused Corporate CAD Manager to join our Fort Mill, SC (South Charlotte) office. The CAD Manager has an integral role at ESP as it requires collaboration throughout the organization by leading and maintaining adoption and integration of design/drafting policies, standards, and templates across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
Provide clear and concise communication and training to current and onboarding for new employees regarding ESP's CAD Standards Interface with Civil Engineering, Planning/Landscape Architecture, Surveying, and IT (hardware) disciplines to further develop current design/drafting policies, standards, and templates Maintenance of drawing templates with the ability to create templates as needed Remain knowledgeable of industry trends, which includes annually attending Autodesk University Act as the primary point-of-contact with software vendors as it relates to software questions, helpdesk tickets, etc.
Requirements:
Associate degree or higher in civil engineering, surveying technology/geomatics, or related field 5+ years' experience in civil engineering and/or surveying production Experience with Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Bentley Products (Microstation, etc.), Bluebeam Knowledge of Civil 3D entities and tools such grading with feature lines and corridors, pipe network creation tools, and styles Ability to problem solve and assist users with AutoCAD model development Training of new and existing employees, which includes developing and presenting lunch & learn type presentations for staff and procedural guideline development Knowledge of Autodesk network deployment Self-motivated, diligent team-player, with a high attention to detail and ability to drive quality and consistency as it relates to CAD standards Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments, and assess common goals to develop standards and procedures meeting the needs of all users Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in-person and online) Must be accessible to employees throughout ESP, including multiple time zones, which may include providing support to employees outside of a standard work schedule Ability to travel overnight approximately 3-5 days/nights per month Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy

Cad Management experience Autodesk Certified Professional Experience working with Trimble software
