Job Description

Seeking a 10+ year Structural Design Engineer with strong ASIC steel and ACI 318 concrete design experience to support projects at a nuclear generating station. This role requires advanced technical skill, independent problem‑solving, and experience with complex industrial structures. Key Work Pipe Support Design — Steel and concrete supports using loads from pipe stress engineering. Concrete & Steel Calculations — Anchorage, corebores, and structural components per
ASIC, ACI 318, ASCE.
Field Walkdowns — Verify field conditions and support installation teams. Design Packages — Calculations, sketches, and technical documentation. Must‑Have Qualifications 10+ years structural engineering (steel + concrete). Strong experience with
ASIC , ACI 318 , ASCE
. Pipe support + anchorage design in industrial or nuclear settings. Proficiency with
GT STRUDL , ANSYS
, or similar. Able to work independently on complex engineering tasks. Preferred PE License (Structural emphasis). MSCE . Nuclear or heavy industrial project experience.
