This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible, remote/e-office environment and is ready to take ownership of projects across all phases—from initial concept through construction. Position Overview The Architecture Associate will play a key role in the design, documentation, and execution of residential projects. This position requires a self-starter who can work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors. Key Responsibilities Lead and support research, concept development, and design solutions Produce and manage schematic design and design development packages Develop and coordinate construction documents Manage aspects of projects including timelines, deliverables, and communication Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all project phases Participate in site visits, construction meetings, and field coordination Ensure design intent is maintained through construction (These responsibilities reflect standard expectations for mid-level architectural staff handling full project cycles and coordination ) Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in residential architecture Ability to manage multiple phases of a project with minimal oversight Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a remote or flexible office environment Willingness and ability to travel locally for site visits and meetings Proficiency in standard architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) preferred Work Environment Remote Must be available for site visits, construction meetings, and in-person coordination as needed.
