Job Description
My client, a reputable EPC firm serving industrial process manufacturers nationwide, is seeking a Structural Designer to join their growing team. Specialising in multidisciplinary industrial projects, they deliver engineering, procurement and construction management services across sectors such as pulp & paper, chemical, consumer goods, food & beverage, power, and heavy industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong designer who enjoys collaborative project work, modern design tools, and contributing to high‑quality engineering packages from initial concept through construction. Key Responsibilities Produce structural models and drawings using Revit and AutoCAD for steel structures, concrete elements, and foundation systems. Support structural engineers with detailed design documentation for industrial and manufacturing projects. Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration across project deliverables. Assist with site layouts, equipment foundation designs, and building structure detailing. Revise and update drawings based on engineering feedback, redlines, and field‑generated changes. Ensure all design outputs meet relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. Requirements Structural design experience within industrial, manufacturing, or heavy‑industry environments. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (required). Familiarity with Navisworks, Plant 3D, ACC Docs, or similar platforms is beneficial. Solid understanding of steel and concrete design standards and drafting practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a project‑driven environment. Effective communication and collaborative working skills.
