Responsibilities Convert system design concepts into specific layouts by interpreting information from basis of design documents, project designers, users, other consultants, field surveys, and code research. Coordinate design requirements with building systems spatial needs. Develop Revit Families and contribute to the infrastructure of Electrical and Building Technology Systems. Essential Skills 1+ years of experience or training in building systems design, focusing on technology and low voltage electrical systems. Proficiency in Revit MEP or AutoCAD. Understanding of NEC, TIA, and BICSI standards. Strong verbal communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with or willingness to learn Smart/Intelligent Building Technologies. Experience with or willingness to learn Physical Security Systems, including access control and security video. Experience with or willingness to learn Audio Visual Systems. Experience with or willingness to learn Information Technology Network infrastructure, such as switches, servers, and wireless security. Excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to work effectively both individually and within team environments. Work Environment You will be supporting a technology team that specializes in low voltage work, including nurse calls, audio, and video systems. This team is known for their technical expertise and quirky nature. You will need to earn their trust through diligence, follow-through, and asking insightful questions. The role requires daily presence in the office, though there may be some flexibility for hybrid work for mid-level candidates with strong Revit skills. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, ideal for those with a passion for technology. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
