You will utilize your technical expertise to inspect, refurbish, and restore surgical devices, ensuring they meet rigorous safety and performance standards to support high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Execute precise repairs and refurbishments on a variety of surgical instruments and medical devices. Conduct thorough diagnostic testing to identify mechanical defects and determine necessary corrective actions. Reassemble equipment with high attention to detail, verifying that every component functions according to strict technical specifications. Maintain compliance with established quality management systems and standardized work instructions. Proactively identify and escalate equipment risks to ensure operational continuity and safety. Manage parts inventory and documentation to support efficient repair workflows and accurate customer quoting. Participate in site-wide safety and organization audits to foster a productive, secure, and professional work environment. Required Skills High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a technical, mechanical, or assembly-focused role. Proven ability to utilize small hand tools for intricate repair or testing tasks. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in fields such as electronics repair, automotive maintenance, or precision assembly. Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds and maneuver equipment carts weighing up to 150 pounds. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team and customer interaction. Preferred Skills Vocational or Technical degree in a relevant field. Experience with fine mechanical applications, including soldering or brazing. Industry-recognized technical certifications. Demonstrated knowledge of performance metrics and inventory requisition systems.
