We have a great opportunity for a Calibration Technician Level 2 (Resident Professional) to join our team in the Mobile, Alabama area. In this role you will be part of a team that maintains the calibration program on-site at a key customer's facility: Assist in equipment recall for customer equipment past due and coming due Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all calibration activities Maintain all calibration program related documentation to meet customer and TRESCAL requirements Ensures all calibration activities meet customer and TRESCAL traceability requirements Perform calibrations on customer equipment both in laboratory and at station Prioritize workload to meet customer process needs Maintain records for current status of all activities to customer Support customer audits as they relate to the calibration programRequirements:
As a Calibration Technician Level 2 (Resident Professional) you must possess: Military training or experience (PMEL or TMDE or GPETE or Electronics) OR an Associate Degree in Electronics (or related technical field); OR equivalent work experience & training. Minimum of 4 years of experience calibrating test & measurement equipment (in a commercial or military calibration lab) Physical Mechanical Calibration experience and General Purpose Electrical Calibration experience required Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 andANSI/NCSL Z540-1
requirements Very good organizational skills, meticulous with details Strong communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills. Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Internet research, data entry, etc. Experience interacting with customers in a courteous and professional manner and providing an excellent customer experience.
