Job Description

job summary: Join our clients team as an Electronics Technician in Tallassee, Alabama. In this dynamic, self-directed role, you will collaborate with their engineering team to develop and refine the smart water metering technologies that support over 4,000 utilities across North America. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with an Associate Degree in electronics and a talent for troubleshooting circuits, building test fixtures, and performing precision soldering.
location:
Tallassee, Alabama job type: Permanent salary: $59,000 - 66,500 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Associates responsibilities: Collaborate with engineering staff to develop, test, and support electronic products and hardware tools.

Conduct functional validation, performance characterization, and failure mode testing on electronic products and software.

Design and construct test circuits and specialized fixtures to support development activities.

Identify and resolve technical issues within electronic circuits, systems, and test equipment.

Collect, organize, and present technical test data to the team.

Create and update technical documentation, including material lists, parts drawings, and project data.

Utilize electronic test equipment and read schematics to execute detailed test procedures.

Perform precision soldering and de-soldering tasks.

Manage laboratory operations and maintain equipment to facilitate new product development.

Use computer skills and programming knowledge, such as LabVIEW, to improve testing efficiency. #LI-JD3 qualifications: Experience level: Entry LevelMinimum 3 years of experience
