About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to ensure the reliability and optimal performance of our equipment and systems. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and control systems to troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Your proficiency in equipment diagnostics and precision alignments will be crucial in maintaining operational efficiency. Responsibilities Conduct expert-level troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime. Execute preventative maintenance tasks, adhering to industry standards, to ensure equipment longevity and reliability. Source necessary parts and supplies, evaluating alternatives to enhance equipment cost-effectiveness and reliability. Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to gather equipment performance data, analyze trends, and provide actionable recommendations. Contribute to continuous improvement activities, driving process enhancements, achieving tangible results, and generating cost savings. Maintain accurate records, review CMMS history, and analyze data to optimize maintenance strategies. Ensure adherence to 5S and housekeeping standards, maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Provide guidance and support to junior technicians, fostering their development and contributing to team expertise. Qualifications Required Skills High School Graduate or equivalent (GED). Proficiency in using basic hand tools and specialized equipment. Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems. Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and execute repairs effectively. Preferred Skills Associate's degree with a Technical focus and 5 years of related experience in a specific industry; or, 7 years of experience in a specific industry. Experience in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance of applicable process equipment. Experience in vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations.
