We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Electronic Technician to contribute to our closely knit family environment. This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills and contribute to the company with your knowledge of electronics by applying a solid understanding of electronic theory to real-world applications.
Job Description:
Apply a solid understanding of electronic theory to analyze and repair circuit boards. Expertly handle components such as resistors, bridge rectifiers, capacitors, MOVs, transistors (IGBT, triacs, etc.). Perform precise soldering and desoldering on solid-state circuit boards, including through-hole and surface mount components. Understand, diagnose, repair, and test surface mount circuit boards. Assemble boards into finished products. Perform operational testing of finished products. Conduct Hipot (Dielectric Voltage-Withstand Test) testing for ELT certification to UL standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Exceptional knowledge of the Theory of Electronics. Proficiency in soldering and desoldering circuit boards. Understanding of circuit board traces, capacitors, resistors, diodes, and transistors. Ability to accurately diagnose, repair, and test electronic components and systems. Familiarity with Ohms Law is essential. This is NOT an electrician position.
