We offer in-house cylinder boring, full machine shop capabilities, complete motor rebuilds, tire mounting, balancing, and a wide range of maintenance and repair services to keep our customers' vehicles performing at their best. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Lead Powersports Mechanic to join our team immediately. In this pivotal role, you will lead our service department by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of powersports vehicles. Your mechanical expertise and leadership skills will ensure high-quality service delivery while fostering a positive environment for both customers and team members. Duties Lead and oversee daily shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and quality standards are met Diagnose complex issues using automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge Perform repairs including brake work, suspension adjustments, engine rebuilds, welding, soldering, and assembly Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely to complete vehicle repairs Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed and parts used Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills and promote best practices within the shop Requirements Proven experience with a strong background in powersports repair Extensive mechanic experience with hands-on knowledge of vehicle maintenance and diagnostics Proficiency with diagnostics tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and suspension systems Familiarity with service technician procedures including brake repair, assembly, and heavy lifting Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery safely and effectively Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong customer service skills Join us at San Tan Motorsports where your mechanical expertise will drive excellence!
