You can pursue your passion in semiconductors/engineering by using state-of-the-art, agile and intelligent operating systems to improve tool performance and availability while meeting uptime and cycle time requirements. Job Description Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Learn and become familiar with manufacturing/engineering process and stay informed of any changes in procedures. Recover tool condition from regular maintain or trouble shooting to provide high quality production line. Oversee AMHS device installation and qualification testing. Sustain and improve the performance of AMHS devices in cleanroom environment. Able to conduct wafer hand-carry when necessary Committed to work, take initiative to deal with grey area or unclear tasks Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation. Able to work in a cleanroom environment, gowning up in coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glasses and gloves. Spend the majority of time (>90%, minus break time) on the factory floor working on the tools. Able to lift weight (up to 50lbs) consistent with applicable regulations and/or safety guidelines, including NIOSH and OSHA Lifting Recommendations. Qualifications Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States High School graduation or GED Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation. Ability to work under a compressed work-week schedule, days, or nights. Demonstrated capability in solving hands-on mechanical problems referring to previous academic works Ability to work in a cleanroom environment in PPE coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glass and gloves. Able to wear clean room suit while standing and/or walking for a 12-hour shift in the FAB as needed 3+ years of experience in a mechanical, maintenance or manufacturing setting, working with electrical machinery, preventative maintenance, installation, and collaborative teams. TSMC offers a relocation package for our new hires that live 50+ miles from our site. Are you open to relocation if you do not currently live here?
