Full Job Description Overview :
Security services company offering a range of installation technician positions for commercial electronic security systems. Role & Responsibilities As an Installation Technician , you will: Install, terminate, and maintain access control systems (mag locks, electronic door strikes, card readers, keypad systems, electric crash bars, EREX/REX buttons, PIR motion sensors) Set up and program IP-based video surveillance (PTZ and IP cameras) and intrusion alarm systems Work on both new construction and existing system modifications . Ensure daily tasks are completed with minimal supervision, following strict safety and quality standards. Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders Skills & Experience Required Minimum 2 years of electrical and electronic security equipment installation/repair experience, with mechanical aptitude Experience with PTZ and IP camera installation, programming, and addressing . Proficiency in at least one of the following (preferred but not always required):
Access Control:
Pro-Watch, Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2,
OpenPath, Avigilon Video:
Axis, Exacq, Milestone, Genetec, Victor, Avigilon, Hanwha Intrusion:
DMP, DSC, Honeywell, Elk L High School diploma or GED; electronics training (technical school or military) is preferred #AJ1

From $20.00 per hour
