Job Description

Talascend is currently seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona . Overview In this contract role, you will access and compile product certification records for legacy products being offered for license to external companies, and compare those records to license offerings to determine differences between potential license part numbers and FAA TSOs. Responsibilities Access Teamcenter, Tech Pubs, multiple secure Honeywell server locations, and locate and accumulate product certification records for legacy products offered for license to external companies. Compare located product certification records to license offerings to determine differences between potential license part numbers and FAA TSOs. Locate, interpret, and use microfiche and paper records to find relevant documentation and certification information. Read engineering blueprints as required. Use secure systems and document-record navigation to support compliance determination activities. Complete technical documentation-related work with tech writing experience desired. Qualifications AA (associate's degree) or higher required. Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education. Ability to read an engineering blueprint required. Experience accessing and navigating Teamcenter, Tech Pubs, and secure server locations. Comfort locating and interpreting microfiche and paper records. Experience comparing technical documents or records to ensure compliance with specific standards or regulations. Shift Day shift.
