This role offers an exciting opportunity to support engineering activities including design, testing, fabrication, and modification of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuitry, and specialized test equipment. The position is based in Scottsdale, AZ and is fully on-site.

$33.44 per hour

Education/Experience:

Associate's Degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience OR equivalent experience

Shift Clearance Requirement:

Active Secret Clearance required (U.S. citizenship required) In this role, you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to: Support engineering activities including design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype systems. Work with electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/light transmission devices, and specialized test equipment. Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics. Construct, modify, debug, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and adjust tools, equipment, and systems. Conduct, analyze, and document statistically based experiments to define process parameters. Implement and document solutions for process improvement. Design and construct basic tooling and fixtures for specialized tasks. Analyze and interpret data to identify root causes and recommend improvements. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Solid knowledge and proficiency in fabrication tools and techniques. Ability to fabricate complex hardware systems. Strong understanding of technical principles and engineering fundamentals. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and contribute to shared success.
