Advanced Engineering Technician - 3rd Shift APR Consulting Inc - 4.2 Scottsdale, AZ Job Details Contract $33.44 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications Associate's degree Full Job Description Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a position for an Advanced Engineering Technician in Scottsdale, AZ , supporting high-technology aerospace defense projects. This contract role offers a pay rate of $33.44 per hour, with a contract length of 12-24 months and the possibility of going direct. The position has a 3rd shift schedule and does not require a security clearance. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in a related discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience. In this role, you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to support engineering activities such as design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuitry, and specialized test equipment. You will interpret engineering drawings, construct and troubleshoot hardware, conduct experiments, and analyze data to improve processes.

Associate's Degree in related discipline, minimum 3 years relevant experience In this role you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to: Support design, testing, and modification of electro-mechanical systems and experimental circuitry Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams Fabricate, troubleshoot, and calibrate hardware and test equipment Conduct statistical experiments and analyze data for process improvements Design and construct tooling and fixtures for specialized tasks Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement solutions and improve processes Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Constructs, modifies, debugs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests and adjusts a variety of tools, equipment and systems Strong proficiency with fabrication tools and hardware construction Solid understanding of technical engineering principles and theory Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics Conducts, analyzes and documents statistically based experiments to define process parameters Ability to analyze data, identify cause/effect relationships, and recommend improvements About our client: Our client is a mission-critical DOD - Aerospace defense contractor developing solutions that will lead, serve, and protect our country.
