Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Testing & Refurbishment Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, repairing, and refurbishing a wide range of electronic devices, including mobile devices, laptops, desktops, networking equipment, and other IT hardware.. Your expertise will ensure that all products meet quality standards and are ready for resale or deployment. Responsibilities Test laptops, desktops, cell phones, tablets, networking equipment, storage drives, and other electronics for functionality. Run hardware diagnostics and identify issues with components such as RAM, storage, batteries, displays, keyboards, ports, motherboards, and power supplies. Securely erase data-bearing devices according to company procedures. Inspect devices for cosmetic condition, missing parts, damage, or repair potential. Load or reinstall operating systems as part of the refurbishment process when required. Complete basic hardware repairs, upgrades, and part replacements when approved or cost-effective. Record device information, serial numbers, asset tags, specifications, test results, and cosmetic grades in internal systems. Sort devices for resale, repair, recycling, or parts harvesting. Process devices according to company guidelines for testing, refurbishment, data handling, and inventory movement. Maintain an organized and clean work area. Work efficiently through batches of devices to meet daily production goals. Assist internal team members with basic technical support, troubleshooting, and device-related questions. Communicate technical issues clearly with team leads and other technicians. Requirements Experience with computer hardware, electronics testing, equipment repair, or similar hands-on technical work. Strong understanding of laptop and desktop components. Ability to diagnose common hardware and software issues. Comfortable using basic hand tools. Ability to follow step-by-step procedures and internal workflows. Strong attention to detail when recording device information. Ability to work independently and stay productive in a warehouse environment. Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Comfortable standing, moving devices, and working in a hands-on production setting. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience refurbishing laptops, desktops, phones, tablets, or other electronics. Familiarity with networking equipment or other IT hardware. Experience with data erasure or diagnostic software. Familiarity with Windows installation and troubleshooting. Experience with Android and iOS device testing. Basic knowledge of BIOS settings, boot menus, storage drives, and operating system installation. Experience with inventory systems or asset tracking. Familiarity with part harvesting or electronics recycling workflows.
Pay:
