Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) service team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various systems and equipment in the field. This is a hands-on role that requires some technical expertise and the ability to work independently. Projects include utility-scale battery storage systems in the Central Valley, CA. Able to to travel to different states for other projects when needed.

Duties:

Assist with the maintenance of BESS components, M-Links including battery racks, HVAC units, cabling, and auxiliary systems. Perform basic electrical and mechanical tasks under supervision, such as troubleshooting low voltage system, and equipment mounting. Perform Quality Control of equipment and apply corrective maintenance before delivery to clients. Assist in system testing and troubleshooting by following established procedures and supporting lead technicians. Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols , including the use of PPE and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures. Perform routine inspections and assist in troubleshooting BESS components when needed. Document work activities, materials used, and any issues encountered for project records.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Field Technician or in a similar role preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Proficiency in English ( Spanish and/or Korean a plus)
• Familiarity with low voltage systems, hand tools, and electrical components
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
