Duration:
2+ months contract Position Summary Provide technical and operational support to production cells while performing disassembly, cleaning, safety wiring, and painting of aviation components. Serve as a resource to technicians in resolving complex technical issues and guide within the production environment. Report to Cell Leads regarding technical matters and support the overall maintenance and repair process. Essential Responsibilities Ensure assigned personnel have and follow the appropriate technical data while performing maintenance functions. Ensure proper handling of all parts throughout the maintenance process. Distribute work to qualified technicians within the shop. Perform in-process inspections in accordance with the RSQC Manual. Ensure maintenance documentation is completed accurately, legibly, and correctly. Verify all tools and equipment are calibrated and maintained in serviceable condition. Ensure maintenance actions are performed according to manufacturer and customer maintenance manuals. Confirm all maintenance activities are fully documented on appropriate maintenance forms. Verify all required signature stamps and initials are completed before final inspection and return to service. Ensure technicians perform maintenance safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. Review work performed within the shop for accuracy and quality. Monitor completion of Work Order Bills of Material (BOM) to ensure correct parts are ordered. Ensure rejected or unserviceable parts are segregated to prevent unintended use. Ensure proper tagging and identification of parts and components in accordance with the RSQC Manual. Ensure preliminary, hidden damage, and in-process inspections are properly documented. Assist the Production Manager in training technicians on proper procedures, dimensional measuring devices, and manual control processes. Coordinate responsibilities with the Production Manager when absent to ensure coverage by qualified and certified personnel. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Mechanic or Repair Station Certificate required per 14 CFR Part 65 . Minimum 5 years of experience in the aviation industry . Strong troubleshooting skills to the component level using measuring gauges and test equipment. Ability to read and follow technical manuals, maintenance documentation, and work instructions. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, vendors, and customers. Customer-focused and results-oriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications FAA A&P License. FCC Certification. Military technical education or aviation maintenance training. Prior experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment. Experience with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Quantum software (preferred but not required). Work Environment Work is primarily performed indoors in a repair shop/manufacturing environment. Occasional exposure to varying temperatures when moving between buildings or when shipping and receiving doors are open. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and steel-toed footwear, is required in designated areas. "We are an equal opportunity employer.
