Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance/Electrical Technician to support the daily operation of our fast-paced car wash facilities. In this energetic role, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a range of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently with minimal downtime. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on car wash equipment including conveyors, motors, pumps, dryers, etc. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues including wiring, breakers, relays and control panels. Diagnose and fix mechanical problems quickly to minimize operational downtime. Inspect equipment regularly and identify protentional issues before failure. Maintain and repair water systems, air systems, and hydraulic components. Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) Assist with installation of new equipment or system upgrades Respond to emergency repairs as needed Skills Knowledge of commercial electrical systems (AC/DC, single-phase and three-phase) Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring designs Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits and components Familiarity with motors, relays, contactors and control systems Experience using electrical testing tools (multimeter, voltage tester, etc.) Understanding of PLC's and basic automation (preferred) Preventive and corrective maintenance experience Knowledge of mechanical repair (pumps, motors, conveyors) Ability to diagnose and repair equipment failures Basic plumbing, carpentry and facility maintenance knowledge Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Qualifications Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork. Must have a reliable vehicle to perform job duties, mileage reimbursement is provided for work-related travel in accordance with California law. Must hold a valid and current driver's license and the ability to pass a CA DMV motor vehicle record check Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends Ability to work in wet, humid, and outdoor conditions Ability to perform physical tasks (bending, climbing, standing)
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
