Electronics Technician Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician proficient in
J-STD-001
Class III standards. The role involves electronic and electromechanical assembly for RF switches and pushbutton switches, working with complex schematics and blueprints, and verifying final assembly against blueprints, wiring diagrams, or specifications. Responsibilities Assemble electronic and electromechanical components for RF and pushbutton switches. Interpret and work from complex schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. Perform hand soldering and soldering in areas with difficult access. Conduct wiring, crimping, cable routing, and building up complete units and sub-assemblies. Rework production items to identify and correct non-conformances. Complete work and shop travelers, ensuring accurate documentation. Use micrometers and calipers for precise measurements. Perform thru-hole soldering on PCBs and hardware installations. Ensure final inspection and identify non-conforming items. Essential Skills Proficiency in electronic assembly and wiring. Experience with micrometers, blueprints, and soldering techniques. Ability to handle cable harnessing and interpret schematics. Expertise in thru-hole soldering and PCB assembly. Knowledge in using hand tools for electronics assembly. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with electronic and electromechanical assembly. Familiarity with crimp termination, torque testing, and hardware installation. Skill in verifying work completion and shop traveler sign-off. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
