Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Industrial Air Compressor Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial air compressors and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly while providing exceptional service to our clients. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on industrial air compressors, generators, and associated machinery Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics and technical manuals Repair and replace components such as valves, filters, belts, motors, and electrical wiring Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs efficiently Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs involving electrical systems and controls Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams for complex equipment repair Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs for all performed tasks Assist with customer service by explaining repair issues and solutions clearly to clients Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience in industrial or automotive repair environments Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, diesel engine repair, or generator maintenance Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, welding, soldering, and heavy lifting procedures Experience working with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate various hand tools and power tools proficiently Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices applicable to industrial equipment is desirable Valid technical certification or relevant training in electrical or mechanical systems preferred Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in industrial equipment maintenance! Pay:
$27.00 - $36.00 per hour
