RESPONSIBILITY
Able to perform all the work of a DDC Service Technician•I plus the following: Must be able to program and commission a complete DDC system with minimal supervision at the ASC device level. Communicates effectively with the onsite personnel, regarding system layout and functionality. Must be able to understand HVAC systems and DDC Hardware and have at least THREE•FIVE years of experience installing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting current building controls systems. Maintains service accounts as assigned, in a professional manner. Identifies service opportunities and creates service work orders in the amount equal to his/her salary base. Works with service sales to identify opportunities for growth.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
 Must have above average knowledge of the DDC systems used by company.  Understands more complex troubleshooting and moderately complex commissioning procedures.  Troubleshoots, repairs, and makes recommendations for improvements to existing control systems.  Takes initiative to complete a project independently in an area where one has not been fully trained.  Manage a crew of DDC installers/subcontractors.  Leads the commissioning of small to medium installation/retrofit projects.  Provides customer training on the field hardware and system layout.  Provides as-built documentation and required paperwork for DDC system closeout.  Performs planned maintenance service on a scheduled basis.  Performs Planned Service Maintenance on assigned accounts.  Interfaces with service/install customer in a professional manner.  Identifies Service opportunities.  Creates Service Work Orders.  Completes all service paperwork in a timely manner.  Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.  Continues to develop more intermediate competencies in Preventative Maintenance and troubleshooting skills through computer training and application.  Is highly organized, self-motivated and a team player.  Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb and work from ladder.

$60,000.00•$90,000.00 per year
