Job Description

SUMMARY Dynacast, LLC is the global supplier of choice for precision engineered die-cast solutions, surpassing customer expectations through dedicated people and technology. We are the global leader in the precision die-casting of zinc, aluminum and magnesium alloys with 23 manufacturing locations spanning 16 countries. Dynacast supplies major companies in a variety of industries including automotive, medical, consumer electronics, hardware and telecommunications. The Asset Electrical Technician will maintain, repair and troubleshoot all automated equipment in the plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Read electrical/hydraulic blueprints. Perform Electrical / Hydraulic / Pneumatic troubleshooting on Die Cast, CNC and other production related Assets. Demonstrate knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens control circuits. Knowledge of GE Fanuc Robots, PLCs & MMI systems is a plus. Perform and execute mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repairs on all equipment. Work within a team environment to Rewire and recondition machines as needed. Executing and implementing preventative maintenance programs. Assist in Mechanical repairs within a team environment perform other duties may be assigned. EDUCATION and
EXPERIENCE
5 or more years of Industrial Electrician experience in manufacturing. Knowledge of control circuits, PLC, process controls, plant electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to troubleshoot and perform PM. Die casting or plastics industry experience preferred, but not necessary.
