This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician who can work independently, support engineering initiatives, and help drive continuous improvement in test and debug processes.
Location:
Milpitas, CA Shift & Compensation Day Shift:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30
PM Swing Shift:
Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30
PM Pay:
$30 to $36 hourly Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical assemblies down to component level Operate electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, specialized test systems, etc.) Support installation, debug, and validation of manufacturing and test equipment Collaborate with engineering on functionality issues, process improvements, and procedure updates Develop and maintain debug guides for PCBA troubleshooting Provide technical support, training, and guidance to other technicians Assist with creation and updates of work instructions, equipment logs, and documentation Monitor yield, cycle time, and productivity metrics to support operational performance Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions immediately Requirements Minimum 4+ years of related debugging or electronics manufacturing experience Strong knowledge of PCBA troubleshooting and electronic test equipment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and test procedures Experience supporting process improvement and technical documentation Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently Ability to train and mentor other technicians is highly preferred Balance Staffing is proud to be an equal-opportunity workplace.
