As an Engineering Technician, you'll support engineering services activities — such as hardware and software design and development. Every role makes an impact. Here's what it takes to make yours count. Associates degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience. 2 years of related experience. Awareness of Flextronics technologies/ techniques. Demonstrates basic functional and/or process knowledge and participates in process. Basic competency related to function. Demonstrates technical skills. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, work that requires repetitive motion, toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.
