SUMMARY:
An Electronics Technician (EE-Tech) will build, calibrate, test and repair the power electronics systems used in our UPS products. He will work as a member of both our production and engineering departments.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
An EE-Tech performs tests to determine whether a product meets performance specifications. They diagnose malfunctions or production problems on the basis of the test results. They disassemble electronics, replace or repair defective components or assembly. Reworks PCB's as required. Calibrates and configures our products using PC based tools. Calibrates and maintains required test instrumentation. The job requires the ability to work in a fast-paced focused production environment. Computer data entry skills will be used to maintain accurate service records.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 years minimum related experience, college credit may supplement for experience
  • AA Degree preferred.
  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electronics
  • Strong electronics aptitude.
  • Experience with power electronic components: IGBT's, MOSFETS, transformers, etc.
