Job Description
Engineering Technician Newport Beach, CA $24-$30/hour Overview We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to support electronic chip validation and testing efforts. This role is responsible for validating semiconductor devices against datasheet specifications, conducting experiments, and driving improvements in testing efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate is highly independent, detail-oriented, and experienced with lab-based testing environments. Key Responsibilities Validate electronic chips based on datasheet specifications Perform electrical testing and characterization across voltage and temperature conditions Design and execute experiments; analyze and document results Operate and maintain lab and test equipment (required) Support senior validation engineers while independently managing assigned projects Identify and implement improvements to testing processes, cycle time, and quality Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of test procedures and results Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams Qualifications Associate's degree (AA) in Engineering or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor device testing (required) Hands-on experience with laboratory/test equipment (mandatory) Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Proven problem-solving capabilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage priorities and meet schedule commitments All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
