Job Description We're looking for a skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician to keep our operations running smoothly. You'll be the go-to person for ensuring our electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatically controlled equipment is operating at peak performance. This role demands a proactive individual who can not only troubleshoot and repair but also mentor and guide other team members.
Shift:
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday 12am - 12pm This Job Is For You If You can work with minimum or no supervision, plan the necessary sequence of operations and methods when making major or minor repairs to building and/or factory systems and structures being guided by good trade practices, manufacturer's specifications and safety standards. You can assist in the set up of scheduled maintenance on equipment including writing and modification of work instructions. You can perform special inspections and do the repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of building and factory systems, such as: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration System, Compressed Gas Equipment, Vacuum Systems, Ro/DI Systems, Electrical Systems, Monitoring and Control Systems, and Building Infrastructure. You can manage medium to large sized projects with minimal or no supervision as assigned by Management. This includes coordinating with contractors, locating necessary parts either onsite or through a vendor, creating parts list, ordering parts, and working with others to complete projects. You can make scheduled, routine inspections on building and factory support equipment and maintaining appropriate logs. Analyze inspection logs to identify possible equipment failures and take action to prevent failure. You can train other operators in all areas of the job assignment. You can use a wide variety of hand, power, test, measurement equipment, and machine tools. You can perform advanced repairs on air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical and other systems including their control components. You can perform miscellaneous related duties as required, including minor housekeeping of assigned work area. Job Requirements Must have completed A.S. in air conditioning or other related field, or have a minimum of 6 years equivalent experience as described above. Must have passed the in-house evaluation process of practical application and oral review.
