Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00
PM Description:
Carry out the bring-up, calibration, testing, and logging of new advanced technologies, working inside and outside at a closed course test track in Oakland. Report to the Team Lead and be a core member of the End Of Line Team. Work closely with multiple stakeholders to improve the product, including hardware, product, and software. Execute and document tests to verify autonomous technologies, including understanding behavior, product capabilities, new and existing issues, and added requirements. Rigorous attention to process, testing programs, and checklists, ensuring high levels of safety as well as efficiency and reliability of new products. Regularly communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to assess robot behavior and triage issues.
Required Skills/Attributes:
You have 2 years of experience or strong interest in the space. Familiar with automotive and/or computer systems. Strong problem solving, diagnostic, and communication skills. Comfortable working outside. Strong organizational and process skills, comfortable with following detailed test plans. Familiarity with ticketing tools to collect feedback, schedule fixes, and track progress. This role requires you to be comfortable with riding an electric bike.
Preferred:
Experience and enthusiasm with live Field Operations for deployment of products, bonus if related to autonomous vehicles.
