Success:

Compensation :

What You'll Connect:

Install underground FTTH fiber drops from network access points to residential and commercial customer locations Perform fiber splicing, termination, and testing, including splice enclosures on the mainline Route fiber cabling into homes and businesses according to company and customer requirements Install conduit, grounding equipment, and customer premise equipment Conduct signal testing using OTDRs, fusion splicers, power meters, and related tools Troubleshoot connectivity issues, damaged fiber, and service outages Read fiber network maps, construction prints, and work orders Coordinate with utility locators and follow safe digging practices Document test results, materials used, and job completion details Support emergency restoration and network expansion activities as needed Tools in

Your Belt:

1-3 years of experience in fiber optic installation, telecommunications, cable, or utility construction Direct FTTH installation experience strongly preferred Experience with aerial and underground fiber construction methods Ability to splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cable Proficiency with OTDRs, fusion splicers, and power meters Ability to read fiber maps, utility prints, and schematics Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Certifications:

Fiber Optic Association (FOA) certification OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Bucket truck certification CDL What You Need to
