What You'll Do As a Calibration Technician (entry level), you support accurate measurement and test results by calibrating and maintaining inspection and test equipment to established standards.
You will:
Perform tests and calibrations on electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic instruments Set up lab equipment to evaluate and calibrate other gages and test tools Disassemble units, inspect for defects, measure parts to spec, and reassemble Align, repair, replace, balance, and calibrate components and circuitry to applicable MIL standards Maintain traceability records, gage usage history, and inventory; issue recall/nonconformance notifications as needed Required qualifications: High school diploma/GED plus 1-3 years related experience (or equivalent) Computer literate; able to learn test fluids Ability to follow QAM/QAP/QEI-021 and applicable

requirements Apply if you're ready to build hands-on calibration skills in a regulated environment. Your Typical Shift You start by reviewing the day's calibration workload and verifying the correct standards and documentation are on hand. In the lab, you move between benches and test stations, keeping tools organized and records current as equipment comes in from production or vendors. You'll document results, update traceability and inventory logs, and coordinate with users when an item is due back, recalled, or flagged for nonconformance. Throughout the day you follow established procedures, work safely around mechanical and electrical equipment, and keep the area ready for the next instrument in queue.
