Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician Job Description As a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will play a pivotal role in leading service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for complex problems and managing projects, while also training and mentoring both service and contract technicians. Responsibilities Lead service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. Design solutions for complex problems and manage projects effectively. Train and mentor service technicians and contract technicians. Collaborate with the Operations Maintenance team to enhance operational efficiency. Essential Skills Maintenance management Preventative maintenance planning Conveyor maintenance Automation Control systems Data analysis Project management Six Sigma Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) 4+ years of experience in repairing and maintaining Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Pneumatic Systems 4+ years of experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment Additional Skills & Qualifications Mentoring junior technicians Maintenance supervision Material handling equipment Sorters Robotics Electrical troubleshooting Mechanical troubleshooting Risk management High school or equivalent diploma 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays 4+ years of experience in conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures 4+ years of experience in repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment 4+ years of experience in reading blueprints and electrical schematics 4+ years of experience in demonstrating safety standards 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE) Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.65 - $42.65/hr.
