Electronic Technician

We are currently seeking an Electronic Technician that is tasked with troubleshooting and repairing electronic test and measurement equipment.

Electronic Technician Requirements:

Minimum of an Associate degree in an electronic discipline preferred. Minimum of 2 years' experience in electronic repair, maintenance of test equipment. Knowledge of OHMS law and electronic theory. Experience in through hole and surface mount soldering.

Electronic Technician Responsibilities:

Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs a wide variety of electronic test and measurement equipment. Recognizes failures and setup problems, isolate problems, and take appropriate action to resolve those problems. Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed. Ensures escalation of issues if repairs become problematic or lengthy. Provides support to the Calibration Laboratory and Sales Team on all production assignments and works with other departments for miscellaneous assignments. Troubleshoots electronic components down to component level to determine cause and remedy of any malfunction. Ensures that all repairs meet manufactures specifications and exceeds ATEC's quality standards. Determines if the designated product passes all test cycles. Collects diagnostic information. needed and enters it into our tracking software. Visually inspects product for damage. Cleans, re-labels and re-packages equipment in relation to the above activities. Fabrication for repair of instruments needed.
