Our client is an electronics manufacturer . They are looking for a Hardware Design Validation Technician to join their team. This role is a
CONTRACT
position. Position will be ONSITE . Candidate must be able to commute onsite to San Francisco, CA.
  • Parking Included
  • Morning/Day Shift - 6AM to 2:30PM - Monday through Friday
  • Position can also be referred to as Test Technician
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Hardware Design Validation Technician to assist in developing and executing hardware design validation and reliability test strategies. In this role, you will support and execute test cases and analyze results to resolve failures. We would love to leverage your passion for hardware design validation and reliability testing to help us deliver products with industry-leading quality and reliability.
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct Tests & Inspections:
Run electrical, mechanical, or software tests on assemblies, components, or finished products according to test standards and plans.
Troubleshoot & Analyze:
Identify defects, perform root-cause analysis on equipment malfunctions, and isolate the source of failures.
Document & Report:
Record test data accurately, draft technical reports, and log issues for engineering review.
Equipment Maintenance:
Set up, calibrate, and perform routine preventative maintenance on testing instrumentation to ensure accuracy.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems. Familiarity with reading schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
Software:
Proficiency in Google Workspace platforms, JMP, and related software.
Soft Skills:
High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication.
