Job Description

Job Summary Software Technician•Autonomous Vehicle Systems WCP is assisting an innovative company developing autonomous haulage systems in the search for Software Technicians. In this role, you will validate, commission, troubleshoot, and support advanced hardware and software systems used in autonomous vehicle operations. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure systems are functioning properly before deployment and during vehicle integration and testing.
Available Shifts AM Shift:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM•2:30
PM PM Shift:
Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM•10:30 PM Training will be conducted Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM•5:00 PM for approximately two weeks before transitioning to the assigned shift. Key Responsibilities Configure, validate, and commission hardware and software systems Support vehicle integration and deployment readiness activities Perform functional testing, system health checks, and software validation Calibrate sensors, cameras, and related equipment Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and integration issues Inspect electronic components and perform quality control checks Document test results, failures, root cause findings, and corrective actions Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance and reliability Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1-5 years of technical, engineering technician, or related experience Experience working with Linux operating systems and command-line tools Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills Experience with system validation, functional testing, or verification activities Ability to follow technical documentation and test procedures Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team Preferred Skills Linux / Command Line Calibration and Sensor Validation Functional Testing Hardware & Software Troubleshooting Join a growing team helping scale manufacturing operations and support the future of autonomous transportation technology.

$35.00•$50.00 per hour
