Title:
HBOT/PEMF
Technician Location:
San Jose, California Job Type :
Full-time /
Part-time Compensation :
$20-22/hour We're not a typical clinic. Our patients aren't recovering from routine injuries. We exist for patients with complex neurological injuries. They're dealing with the aftermath of traumatic brain injuries, persistent concussion symptoms, and neurological conditions that haven't responded to conventional care. Many of them have been through multiple providers without getting better. When they get to us, the work we do in each session genuinely matters. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is one of the most specialized treatments we offer, and patients spend extended time in the chamber — sometimes anxious, often dealing with the effects of a serious neurological injury. The person operating those sessions matters enormously. Not because the technical skills are complex, but because the human presence in the room is what determines whether a patient feels safe, supported, and willing to come back. That's what we're hiring for. What we're looking for. As our
HBOT/PEMF
Technician, you'll operate Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy sessions end to end — preparing the equipment, educating patients on what to expect, screening for contraindications, assisting them in and out of the chamber, monitoring throughout, and responding to anything that comes up. You'll also provide front desk coverage during downtimes and contribute to clinic initiatives as assigned. We'll train you on everything technical. The protocols, the equipment, the procedures — all of it is learnable. What we can't train is the warmth, attentiveness, and steady presence that makes a patient feel like they're in good hands. That part has to come from you. What you'll be doing. Operate HBOT and PEMF sessions end to end — prep, patient assist, monitoring, and cleanliness. Educate patients on HBOT and PEMF therapy services, safety procedures, and what to expect during sessions. Screen for contraindications and escalate concerns appropriately. Monitor patient status throughout sessions and respond promptly to any needs or concerns. Maintain equipment and flag any maintenance needs or malfunctions. Provide front desk coverage during patient downtimes — phones, check-in, and check-out. Contribute to clinic initiatives and growth projects during downtime. You'd Be a Great Fit If You Have a high school diploma or equivalent Are naturally warm, attentive, and at ease with people who are going through something difficult Communicate clearly and stay composed when a patient has questions or concerns mid-session Are reliable, show up ready, and take your responsibilities seriously even when the task feels routine Are curious about healthcare and open to learning in a specialized clinical environment
