RMA Technician

The RMA Technician is part of the Repair and Test Engineering team and supports the closed-loop corrective action process. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, reworking, and testing products returned from the field, built in-house, or developed by engineering. The technician also supports production and incoming audit activities. Regular Tasks

• Diagnose, repair, and test products returned from the field.
• Perform preliminary component-level analysis and document findings in Navision.
• Conduct operational testing and fault isolation on production products.
• Complete assembly, rework, and quality testing for prototype and production sub-assemblies.
• Support production debugging for products that fail integration, ETT, or incoming functional testing.
• Assist Production/Operations with month-end or quarter-end shipping needs through repair, soldering, assembly, or packing support.
• Event-Driven Tasks
• Train CM personnel on debugging and troubleshooting production builds and bone-pile products.
• Debug and repair prototype or production products at CM or customer sites.
• Support HALT and EMI testing, including debugging and troubleshooting.
• Provide Design and Test Engineering with input on failure modes in new products.
• Support incoming inspection by verifying and re-screening products for workmanship, solder joint, BIOS, or CMOS issues.
• Build development testers to customer requirements.

• Assist Operations with bi-weekly inventory audits and production floor re-layouts as needed.

Education:

AA/AS degree in Electronics or equivalent technical training or related work experience.
