Electronic Technician- Sunnyvale, CA Information Technology SOC LLC United States, California, Sunnyvale May 29, 2026 Electronic Technician needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.

Job Description:
Support engineering and manufacturing teams by performing PCB assembly, rework, repair, and testing activities on prototype and production electronic assemblies. Responsibilities Perform hand soldering, assembly, disassembly, and rework of SMT and through-hole electronic components. Repair PCB assemblies by replacing defective, incorrect, or damaged components. Perform ECO and repair rework following engineering documentation and work instructions. Use microscopes, soldering equipment, and hand tools to inspect and repair electronic assemblies. Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and rework instructions. Identify and correct solder defects, shorts, opens, and component placement issues. Assist with setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of engineering test stations. Use test equipment including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools. Document repairs and communicate findings to engineering as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following quality and safety procedures. Qualifications 5+ years of electronics assembly, soldering, or PCB rework experience. Experience working with SMT and through-hole components. Ability to perform detailed soldering and inspection under a microscope. Familiarity with schematics, assembly drawings, and engineering change orders (ECOs). Basic troubleshooting skills using standard electronic test equipment.
