In this role, the Senior Electronics Technician is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electronic systems and equipment. This role provides technical leadership, supports engineering teams, and ensures high standards of system performance, reliability, and safety. The position requires deep technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior technicians. Key Responsibilities 1. Diagnose, troubleshooting, and repair advanced electronic systems, assemblies, and components 2. Soldering skills required for (SMT and through hole) components 3. Perform installation, testing, and preventative maintenance of electronic equipment 4. Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals 5. Lead and support troubleshooting efforts for system failures and root-cause analysis 6. Modify and upgrade existing systems to improve performance and reliability 7. Collaborate with engineers on design improvements and prototyping activities 8. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and documentation 9. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies 10. Mentor and train junior technicians and provide technical guidance 11. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance 12. Support production, field operations, or manufacturing environments as needed Required Qualifications 1. Minimum Associate's Electronics degree 2. 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in electronics troubleshooting and repair 3. Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits 4. Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, etc.) 5. Ability to read and interpret complex technical documentation and schematics 6. Experience with soldering, PCBAs repair, and component-level diagnostics 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 8. Ability to work independently and lead technical tasks 9. Must be able to solder surface mount components Preferred Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology. 2. Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, telecommunications, or industrial environment 3. Knowledge of PLCs, embedded systems, or microcontrollers 4. Certifications such as IPC, ETA, or equivalent technical credentials 5. Experience with quality systems (ISO, Six Sigma, Lean practices) Key Competencies 1. Technical leadership and mentorship 2. Pay:
$31.00 - $36.00 per hour
