(VMI) designs and manufactures high-voltage electronic components and power systems for specialized applications. We are committed to quality, precision, and innovation in everything we build. Position Summary Voltage Multipliers, Inc. is seeking an Electronic Technician to join our team supporting the testing, troubleshooting, and development of high-voltage electronic products, including diodes, rectifier assemblies, multipliers, and power supplies. We are open to candidates with a range of experience levels. The selected candidate will be placed into Technician I, Technician II, or Senior Technician based on technical knowledge, hands-on experience, troubleshooting ability, and demonstrated skill level. This position reports to the Test Area Supervisor and works closely with production and engineering teams to ensure product quality, reliability, and performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform setup and testing of high-voltage electronic products and assemblies Operate oscilloscopes, volt meters, current meters, and other electronic test equipment Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings Accurately document and communicate test results Troubleshoot nonconforming products and assist with failure analysis Analyze test data to identify trends or potential issues Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all testing processes Support engineering and production teams with technical problem-solving Design and build test fixtures, tooling, or custom test systems (advanced levels) Assist with special projects as assigned Qualifications Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent technical training/experience preferred Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings Experience using electronic measurement and test equipment Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills High attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and collaboratively Level Placement Guidelines Technician I ($23.00
  • 26.00/hr) Ideal for candidates with foundational electronics knowledge who are developing technical skills. Basic knowledge of electronics testing Able to follow established procedures accurately Familiar with standard test equipment Requires guidance on more complex troubleshooting Technician II ($26.20
  • 29.88/hr) For experienced technicians who can troubleshoot and work independently. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability Experience with failure analysis and root cause identification Ability to analyze test data and identify issues Able to work with minimal supervision Senior Technician ($29.88

Following successful completion of this introductory period, candidates may be considered for transition to direct employment with Voltage Multipliers, Inc., based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
