24 Months Role Overview This position focuses on supporting research and development activities related to oscilloscopes and associated hardware/software systems. The technician will work closely with cross-functional teams including R D, technical support, marketing, and NPI (New Product Introduction). The role combines electronics troubleshooting, hardware coordination, software setup, calibration support, and equipment maintenance in a lab/manufacturing environment. Key ResponsibilitiesOscilloscope Support Perform calibration support for active oscilloscope product families Install and reinstall oscilloscope software and QUADS software Coordinate oscilloscope and QUADS hardware servicing Validate oscilloscope applications and submit technical issues when identified Diagnose oscilloscope problems and help narrow down root causes before handing equipment to repair teams Equipment & Hardware Maintenance Ensure supporting lab/test equipment remains operational Assist with SSD imaging for equipment deployment Support hardware setup and maintenance activities Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with: R D teams Technical support Marketing NPI/manufacturing teams Communicate technical findings clearly and effectively Lab Environment Work in an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) controlled environment Follow electronics handling and manufacturing procedures Required SkillsTechnical Skills General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing Experience with electronic/mechanical assembly Familiarity with torque drivers and hardware tools Comfortable using: Microsoft Windows MS Word Excel Outlook Ability to troubleshoot technical and hardware issues Soft Skills Strong written and verbal communication Attention to detail Organizational skills Ability to prioritize and solve problems Comfortable working in fast-paced environments Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities Team-oriented mindset with positive attitude Ability to work under schedule pressure Basic Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in: Electronics manufacturing NPI environments Related technical/electronics roles High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Additional education or certifications in electronics Experience using electronic test equipment Hands-on experience with: Oscilloscopes Electronic probes Test and measurement instruments What This Role Is Really Looking For This role is best suited for someone who: Enjoys hands-on electronics work Can troubleshoot hardware/software issues independently Is comfortable working in lab or manufacturing environments Has experience supporting test equipment or electronic systems Can coordinate with multiple engineering teams It is a strong fit for candidates with backgrounds such as: Electronics Technician Test Technician Manufacturing Technician NPI Technician Lab Technician Hardware Support Technician Work Environment Fully onsite in Colorado Springs Lab and electronics manufacturing setting ESD-safe environment Fast-paced R D support role with a mix of hardware and software responsibilities
