We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Senior Engineering Technician to support both engineering development and daily sustaining operations within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary engineering team that supports daily manufacturing operations of X-ray tubes/power supplies and Neutron generators. This hands-on role is responsible for building and maintaining custom test fixtures, ensuring high equipment uptime, and supporting facility and production equipment. The ideal candidate has strong electronics troubleshooting experience (high-voltage (>2kV) a plus), is comfortable working across electromechanical systems, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Life:

Build, troubleshoot, and maintain custom test fixtures to support engineering and production needs Provide daily sustaining support for manufacturing operations, ensuring high equipment availability and reliability Perform routine and non-routine preventive maintenance (PMs) on manufacturing equipment and toolsets Troubleshoot equipment issues, diagnose root causes, and perform repairs to restore systems to operational status Respond to equipment alarms, failures, and process interruptions in a timely manner Conduct failure analysis on equipment and product to support root cause investigations and corrective actions Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics during troubleshooting and repair Maintain and service facility equipment to ensure safe and continuous operation Collaborate with engineering and production teams to return equipment to service Document maintenance activities, repairs, and test procedures in accordance with quality requirements Manage multiple tasks and adjust quickly to changing priorities Keys to

Success:

Education and Experience Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field, preferred; or High school diploma or GED and at least 4 years of equivalent hands-on experience. Strong background in electronics (analog and digital) troubleshooting and diagnostics at the component level. Working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems. Experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing or production systems (e.g., high vacuum systems, high voltage power supplies (>50kV)). Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Hands-on experience performing preventive maintenance and corrective repairs. Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a production environment. Physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and manual dexterity. Understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements. Compensation and Benefits The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Colorado is $22.81-$34.00.
